FAQs
What's the difference between the facial sponges?
Two things — softness and shape. The peach teardrop is our softest, best for sensitive skin. The white teardrop is our regular firmness. And the round white sponge is exactly the same material as the white teardrop — just a round shape instead — so it comes down to which shape you prefer in your hand. If your skin's on the sensitive side, start with the peach.
Which should I start with for sensitive skin?
Start with the gentle peach facial sponge and a light touch, two or three times a week, and build up from there once you know how your skin responds.
It feels too rough. Am I doing something wrong?
Probably just pressing too hard. How much you exfoliate is in your hands — light pressure gives a gentle clean, firmer gives more. If your skin looks red afterwards, ease off. Same sponge, gentler touch.
How often can I use it?
If your skin is normal or oily, daily is fine. If it's sensitive, start two or three times a week and go by comfort.
How do I care for it?
Rinse thoroughly under running water, shake off the excess, and let it air dry. Don't squeeze or wring it — that's what wears them out fastest.
Can men use these?
Definitely. Men's skin is thicker and denser than women's, and takes exfoliation well. Exfoliating before shaving also lifts the hairs and clears dead skin, which can help with ingrown hairs and razor bumps.
